This Programme is a top-up from an S.Th.B. degree to an M.Th. degree. Being research based, it entails the writing and submission of either one dissertation of 30 ECTS or three publishable review papers of 10 ECTS each from any one of the Departments of the Faculty of Theology (excluding Philosophy). The research area is chosen from a list of generic themes provided and it is discussed with a tutor who will assist you in establishing the precise theme and parameters of the topic selected. Through the research conducted, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to analyse and report on a significant independent study or aspect of theology of your own choice. You will have the opportunity to explore a specific area of particular interest and to develop further your skills of individual research, focused analysis, in-depth engagement with a topic, and sustained reflective writing on it.
